BCCI Has Announced Big Prize Money For U19 Cricketers And Rahul Dravid


India’s U19 Cricket Team created history by winning the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup for the fourth time. Coached by the gentleman of Indian cricket and one of the best batsmen in the history of the game, Rahul Dravid, Indian team played with a lot of authority and domination throughout the tournament and outplayed every opposition they played against.


In the final match of the tournament against Australia, Manjot Kalra batted brilliantly and scored a match-winning, in fact, World Cup-winning hundred.

Soon after the juniors were crowned the champions the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced reward for the team and the coach. Rahul Dravid the head coach of the India U19 team gets – INR50 lakhs while all other players of the team will be awarded INR 30 lakhs each. The members of the support staff that include fielding coach Abhay Sharma will get INR 20 lakhs each.
