Angry Shikhar Dhawan Used ‘Delhi-Wali’ Language For Virat Kohli And Twitterati Went Berserk

Shikhar Dhawan is one of the most cool and calm cricketers in the world. He plays the game with a big smile on his face and very rarely loses his cool. He is also very stylish cricketer who likes wearing colourful sunglasses and supports trendy hairdos, more often than not.

But in the first match of the ongoing One Day International (ODI) series between South Africa and India, Shikhar Dhawan lost his cool when he had to walk back to the pavilion after getting involved in a mix-up in the middle with captain Virat Kohli and got run-out.

On the second delivery of the 13th over by Chris Morris, Shikhar Dhawan missed out on the delivery as it hit his pad. The ball was too close to the fielder and Dhawan wasn’t even looking up. Suddenly he realized that Virat Kohli has charged for the run and Dhawan had to reciprocate

It can be easily said that the run was not on and Proteas’ Aiden Markram dislodged the stumps with a direct hit from backward point, Shikhar Dhawan was nowhere near the crease. It was Kohli’s call and frankly, there was never a run for the taking. As Dhawan got run out he was just furious at Kohli and sought answers in anger.

After seeing Shikhar Dhawan’s anger on the field, Twitterati sent out many tweets and some of them, as always, are hilarious. Check out the tweets here:
