This would have been the first time in the History that all the youngsters (non South-Indians) are obsessed with a Malayalam song. No it’s not because of the music, not because of the lyrics as well, but because of the expressions of a girl who has taken over the Internet right now.

Who knew a wink could make anyone such a big hit? Priya Prakash Varrier became a celebrity in a single day. She even made a new record by becoming the first Indian celebrity to earn millions of followers in a single day. Even her video from her first song gained 4 million views in a single day.

Guys from across the nation are crushing over her, they have literally gone crazy for her. From circulating her pictures and videos on the social networking sites to creating memes and trolls on her, these guys have not let a single stone unturned to make Priya Prakash Varrier achieve this unexpected stardom.

But seems like, the “National crush” is caught in between a LEGAL TROUBLE.

If reports are to be believed than a group of Muslims from Hyderabad went to lodge a complaint against the makers of the movie “Odu Adaar Love” as it hurts the emotions and sentiments of Muslim community.

Recently, the first song, “Manikya Malaraya Poovi” was released from the upcoming movie of Priya Prakash Varrier. The group of muslims have claimed that the song when converted into English insults the Prophet and for the same, they have demanded actions to be taken against the video.

Although, police has not filed an FIR till now.

Moreover, the movie has received backlash from the Muslim community in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Also, a group in Kerala has also made up their minds to protest against “Oru Adaar Love” in the beginning of the week.

Besides this, recently, a Hindu group took to Facebook and asked people for boycotting this movie. The protest is named “Durga Vahini’s March Against ‘Oru Adar Love’”, people have even organised an event on Shankumugham Beach at Thiruvananthapuram.

The event loosely translates to this:

When Hinduism is going to outer space, these kind of regressive ideas are not a good ideal for our youth. More importantly, films like these are an embarrassment to Indian culture. So we request all men and women to come join the Durga Vahini’s march protesting against the movie, Oru Adaar Love.”

Although, after the violent protests of Padmaavat this isn’t shocking at all. Anything can happen here.
