A disturbing incident at L’Opéra’s Khan Market outlet in Delhi has sparked concerns about hygiene after a customer found a cockroach in their iced latte. On October 4, a customer who ordered an iced latte and a salted caramel coffee discovered the insect floating in their drink once they settled into their car.
Initially mistaking the object for a coffee bean, the customer, who shared the experience on Reddit under the username “WaltzSimple6037,” was horrified to realize it was a dead cockroach. Disgusted, they immediately returned to the café to confront the staff.
Although the café staff apologized, the customer was disappointed with their indifferent attitude, stating, “They were so nonchalant, just repeatedly saying sorry without any real concern.”
