The whole country was left in shock after the tragic incident in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, where Pakistan based military group Jaish-e-Mohammed took lives of more than 40 CRPF soldiers. The complete country is in a state of anguish and anger. People don’t want to have any connection with Pakistan, as it is supporting terrorism.

Now as World Cup is just around the corner, the India vs Pakistan clash in the world cup 2019 has become a most discussed topic on social media. People are demanding to sack the match.

Many top cricketers including Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar have opened up about the issue and have given their opinions. Sourav Ganguly and Harbhajan Singh are for this ban while Sachin Tendulkar and Sunil Gavaskar wants to beat them on field.

On Saturday, during the recent press conference, Indian skipper Virat Kohli broke his silence on this growing protest against the World Cup match. Talking about the Ind vs Pak clash, he said :

“Our sincere condolences to the families of CRPF soldiers who lost their lives in Pulwama Attack. Our stand is simple. We stick by what the nation wants to do and what the BCCI decides to do and that is basically our opinion’.

He added:

‘Whatever the government and the board decide, we will eventually go by that and will respect that. So that is our stand on this particular issue’.
