Sachin, Bhajji, Kaif Can’t Stop Praising Ishant Sharma And Virat Kohli For Their Brilliant Performances


Courtesy to the epic performance by Captain Kohli, Indian cricket team got themselves close to England’s target score of the first innings,287 runs, on the second day of the series. On the first day of the five days series we got to see the athletic skills of Virat Kohli and others. However, all the limelight was stole by Ravi Chandran Ashwin who gave an outstanding performance with his bowling skills.


Going into the third day, the day was full of entertainment and the match hangs in the balance as India with five wickets remaining needs 84 runs to win. The day belonged to Ishant Sharma’s mindblowing spell and Virat Kohli’s knock. The two cricketers kept everyone hooked.

The second innings for England cricket team started with a bang from the Indian cricket team’s side. The Indian bowlers were on fire today. The talented off-spiner of Indian cricket team, Ravichandran Ashwin gave a powerful start to Indian cricket team by taking the wicket of opener Joe Root.

The England’s batsmen were looking out to build a strong partnership to put pressure on the Indian cricket team, however, Ishant Sharma was in no mood to let that happen. He bundled up all the top and middle order players of England cricket team.Utilizing all his experience in the match, Ishant Sharma took five wickets in the match.

Ishant removed Jonny Bairstow (28) and Ben Stokes (6) just at the stroke of lunch even as England lost the key wickets of opener Keaton Jennings (8), skipper Joe Root (14), Dawid Malan (20) and Stuart Broad(11) in regular intervals.

After England’s wickets were bundled up, it was the turn of Indian cricketers to take over the team. The Indian openers, Murali Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan had a daunting task ahead of them, however, Stuart Broad was in a much greater form. He dismissed Murali Vijay with an inswinger and removed Dhawan in the eighth over to put pressure on the Indian squad.

KL Rahul was also dismissed after a few shots by Ben Stokes. Ajinkya Rahane’s travails continued as he was sent back to pavilion as Sam Curran picked up his first wicket of the second innings. R.Ashwin and Hardik Pandya’s wickets also fell early leaving all the responsibilities on Virat Kohli’s shoulders.

Virat Kohli buckled down and staved off England’s attack. As of now he has scored 43 runs, while on the other hand, Dinesh Karthik, was giving him great partnership on the pitch.
