It did not take long for Rohit to mark his place in the Under 17 and Under 19 Indian Teams. With some mighty knock downs, he finished off as a brilliant run scorer in the Under 19 Tournament.

Ever since there has been no looking back for Rohit! In 2006 he made his domestic debut for India. The 20 year Rohit Sharma made an International debut for India in 2007 against New Zealand.

Rohit now, is unarguably one of the most reliable match winner for the National Team.After the era of Sachin, Sehwag and Ganguly, Team India has got an apt replacement for the opener.
