Rohit Sharma, in the ODI series, did the unthinkable and scored the third double hundred of his ODI career. And, he is the only batsman to have done so.

In the ongoing T20I series, Rohit Sharma played the best innings of T20I career and equalled David Miller’s record of fastest hundred in T20I cricket, off just 35 balls. His staggering knock of 118 from just 43 deliveries was a treat for the spectators and curse for the Lankan bowlers.

Rohit batted in his trademark style and smashed sixes and boundaries all around the park. Rohit is one of the sweetest timers of the cricket ball and when he gets his eye in, the Hitman from Mumbai can destroy any bowling attack in the world.

After his fastest T20I hundred, David Millers, who now shares the top spot with Rohit Sharma, sent out a tweet and congratulated Rohit on his spectacular innings. Miller is also a very powerful hitter and a very difficult batter to contain on his day. His biggest strength is the power with which he strikes the ball.

This is what he tweeted:

Rohit Sharma, who is now by all means a sensational limited overs opener didn’t take much time to respond to Miller’s praise of him. Rohit Sharma in his reply to David Miller’s Tweet said that he’s just trying to hit the ball as clean as David Miller does.
