Rahul Dravid, the batting legend of Indian cricket team was officially inducted in the ICC Hall of Fame a few minutes before the fifth and the final ODI against Windies started yesterday.


The batting legend has scored 13,288 runs in 164 Tests with 36 centuries and 10,889 runs in 344 ODIs, including 12 centuries. Apart from being the legendary batsmen, Rahul Dravid was also one of the best slip fielders the game has seen and finished his Test career in 2012 with 210 catches, which is still a world record.

Rahul Dravid has become the fifth Indian cricketer to get inducted in the ICC Hall Of Fame following the Anil Kumble, Bishan Singh Bedi, Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev.


Fondly called as ‘The Wall’ by his fans and followers, Rahul Dravid is loved by millions for what he is as a person off-field as well. His simplicity, his down-to-earth attitude and his humble personality has always made him rule the hearts of his followers. He is currently the head coach of U-19 and India A teams.
