Earlier, Shatrughan Sinha shared his thoughts about his daughter’s wedding in an interview with Zoom. He mentioned that he was in Delhi and had not discussed his daughter’s plans. The three-time elected MP said his daughter had not informed him of any wedding plans but assured that he would bless the couple if Sonakshi confided in him. He said:
“I am in Delhi right now. After the election results, I flew down here. I haven’t spoken to anyone about my daughter’s plans. So your question is, is she getting married? The answer is that she hasn’t told me anything about it. Main bhi utna hi jaanta ho jitna main media maine padha hai. If and when she takes me into confidence, my wife and I will give the couple my blessings. We wish her all happiness always.”
Shatrughan Sinha added that he trusts his daughter’s judgment and believes she won’t make an illegal decision. He emphasized that she is an adult with the right to make her own decisions and expressed his desire to dance at her wedding. He said:
