Singer and composer B Praak has decided to cancel his appearance on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast following the latter’s controversial remarks on Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent. Expressing his disapproval, B Praak slammed the podcaster, calling his mindset “pathetic” and stating that such views go against Indian culture.
B Praak Criticizes Ranveer Allahbadia’s Comments
B Praak took to Instagram to voice his disappointment, condemning the inappropriate comments made by Allahbadia, who is widely known as BeerBiceps. He strongly opposed the derogatory humor used in the show, questioning how such content could be categorized as comedy. The singer particularly highlighted a segment featuring a Sikh guest, questioning how someone from the Sikh community could endorse such language.

Additionally, B Praak pointed out the contradiction in Ranveer’s messaging, noting that while he promotes spirituality and Sanatan Dharm, his involvement in such discussions raises concerns. Calling for more responsible content creation, he urged comedians to avoid offensive material that could negatively influence younger audiences.
Industry Backlash and Ranveer’s Apology
The controversy surrounding Ranveer Allahbadia has drawn criticism from various industry figures. Adipurush writer Manoj Muntashir also condemned his remarks, calling for action from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and warning parents about the potential impact on future generations. Similarly, writer Neelesh Misra expressed disappointment over the incident.
Following the backlash, Ranveer issued an apology on Instagram, admitting that his comments were inappropriate and acknowledging that he should not have made them.
The Controversial Question That Sparked the Outrage
For those unfamiliar with the incident, Ranveer Allahbadia appeared as a judge on India’s Got Latent alongside Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, and Apoorva Mukhija (The Rebel Kid). During the episode, he posed a question to a contestant that many social media users found offensive:
“Would you rather watch your parents have sx for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?”*
The comment sparked widespread outrage, leading to an FIR being filed against Ranveer and the other judges of the episode.
