Shruti Haasan has strongly disapproved of a social media user who recently asked her to mimic a ‘South Indian accent’. During an interactive session on her Instagram profile, the actress expressed discontent, labeling such requests insensitive.
Shruti Haasan who hails from a Tamilian background, condemned what she described as micro-racism, highlighting that it’s equally inappropriate to mock cultural elements like ‘idli dosa sambar’.
She emphasized that such attempts at imitation often fall short and should not be considered humorous.
