Recently, Shanaya shot an ad with boat that gave chance to the netizens to comment on her acting and personality.
Shanaya and Karan Johar shared the clip of the ad on their respective social platforms, where Shanaya had faced mixed reaction from the audience.
Some praised her acting and looks while others roasted her for overacting and being from a filmy background.

In the ad, Shanaya was shown shooting for spaghetti but she liked the boat’s hair straightener used for her makeup and rather than giving nicer shots with the spaghetti, she started flaunting her hairs. She tried to make it a little funny, which gave netizens the chance to troll her.
A user on twitter wrote – “She is overacting even in the ad. God save her movies.” while a lot of users trolled her by saying that she is another Ananaya Pandey.
A user even called her “annoying.” Notably, Ananya and Shanaya are best friends and Ananya also faces such kind of trolls over social media.
Netizens also brought Karan Johar under the chair and trolled him for favouring star kids or kids of Bollywood actors and actresses. Notably, Shanaya Kapoor is the oldest daughter of Maheep Kapoor and actor Sanjay Kapoor, the youngest of three Kapoor brothers. Sanjay Kapoor has been seen in many Bollywood movies like ‘Raja’, ‘Prem’, ‘Sirf Tum’ etc.
He has also been seen in Star Plus’ – ‘Dil Sambhal Ja Zara.’ While Maheep Kapoor is a jewellery designer who always rules the stage through her amazing fashion sense.
