Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who seldom posts on social media, took a moment to share a special glimpse of Ganesh Chaturthi festivities from his Mumbai residence, Mannat. On Saturday night, he posted a picture that included a peek at his wife, Gauri Khan, a film producer and interior decorator.
Along with the image, SRK shared a heartfelt message:
“On this pious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, may Lord Ganesha bless all of us and our families with health, love, and joy…. And of course, a lot of modaks.”
Shah Rukh Khan married Gauri Khan in 1991, and the couple has three children: Aryan, 26, who recently launched a luxury streetwear brand and is gearing up for his directorial debut; Suhana, 24, who made her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies alongside Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor; and their youngest, AbRam, who is still in school in Mumbai.
SRK’s upcoming project is a film titled King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Speaking at the Locarno Film Festival, SRK revealed that after completing Jawan and Dunki last year, he was ready for a new kind of project. He shared how he had been contemplating this particular idea for seven years, and after mentioning it to Sujoy Ghosh, the director said, “Sir, I have a subject.”
Shah Rukh Khan’s last film releases in 2023 included Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki, all of which were major box office successes.
