Harshvardhan Rane, who rose to fame with his 2016 Hindi debut film Sanam Teri Kasam, has appeared in several other films, including Paltan, Taish, Tara Vs Bilal, and Dange, though none matched the success of his debut. Recently, a troll took a jab at his career, but Rane’s response was remarkable.
The actor shared on Instagram that he is currently taking college exams, mentioning that his exams are going well, though two challenging ones remain. He expressed his preparation level with the quote, “Umeed se kam, himmat se zyada” (less than expected, more than courage).
In response to his post, a netizen commented,
“Bhai ek action film karo aur hit ho jao” (Brother, do an action film and become a hit).
Harshvardhan Rane’s retort hinted at the lack of a wealthy, film-industry background, saying, “
ok Sir, abhi daddy ko bolta hoon! oh no woh to hai nahi!”
(Alright Sir, I’ll tell my dad right away! Oh, he’s not there!).
Many users supported Rane’s reply, with one highlighting nepotism and another noting, “he is not Kapurs.”
For those unaware, Harshvardhan is currently in his first year studying psychology honors. His father, Vivek Rane, was a dermatologist, and his mother, Swarnarekha Rao, was a homemaker.
Career Highlights Harshvardhan began his career in the Telugu film industry, gaining national fame with his Hindi debut. He also appeared in the TV show Left Right Left on SAB TV. His most recent appearance was in Mukesh Bhatt’s Savi.
Harshvardhan has two upcoming films in post-production: Kun Faya Kun and Miranda Boys.
