Sana Makbul recently shared her thoughts on the allegations of her being a fixed winner of Bigg Boss OTT 3 and her ongoing rivalry with Ranvir Shorey.
Bigg Boss OTT 3, hosted by Anil Kapoor, concluded on August 2, 2024, with Sana Makbul emerging as the winner, taking home a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 25 lakh. Her close friend, Naezy, was the first runner-up, and Ranvir Shorey finished as the second runner-up. In a recent interview, Sana responded to accusations of her win being pre-determined and spoke about her issues with Ranvir.
Reaction to ‘Fixed Winner’ Claims
In an interview with ETimes TV, Sana Makbul addressed the rumors of her victory being fixed. She discussed her struggles in the Bigg Boss house, emphasizing that she faced significant challenges and was frequently targeted during the show. She stated:
“Agar fixed winner hoti toh mere saath joh ghar mein hua hai woh hota nahi. Mujhe aisa laga tha jab Lovekesh ka elimination hua, I felt us jagah par main hoti because nobody in the house liked me. It is not fixed agar fixed hota toh main favourite banti, Bigg Boss mujhe bahut favour karte but I was never favoured. In fact, every weekend Ka Vaar I was targeted for some or the other reason.”
“If I were a fixed winner, the hardships I faced in the house wouldn’t have happened. When Lovekesh was eliminated, I thought it would be me because no one liked me. It’s not fixed; if it were, I would have been favored by Bigg Boss, but I was not. Every Weekend Ka Vaar, I was targeted for various reasons.”
On Rivalry with Ranvir Shorey
Sana also commented on her contentious relationship with Ranvir Shorey, expressing that she would prefer not to see him again. She clarified that she holds no grudges against him and wants to move forward in life:
I would like to tell him, ‘Be happy with your grudges and I don’t wish to see you ever again in my life’. But yes, as I said in the Bigg Boss house, whatever differences I had with him, I felt it was right to leave it there because I’m like that. If he still holds grudges against me, it’s good for him. I don’t hold any grudges against him and I want to move ahead in life.”
Reflecting on Her Bigg Boss Journey
Sana reminisced about her 42-day journey in the BB house, describing herself as strong and fierce, always standing by her principles despite attempts to undermine her. She said:
“Yes, I strongly stood by my points always. I was very strong and very fierce. Main apni cheezon par datti rahi, whatever I’ve said on the show I own up to it. I never tried to run away from the things I’ve said. Logon ne mujhe bahut patthar maare, bahut cheezein boli but I just ignored them. For me, the journey was tough but ek naari sab par bhaari thi.”
Wedding Plans
Sana also touched upon her marriage plans, revealing that she intends to marry by next year. She confirmed that marriage is indeed on the horizon for her:
“Yes, either this year or by next year. Marriage is definitely on the cards. I won’t deny it, and I own up to it.”
