Somy Ali, who was in a relationship with Salman at the time, revealed in an interview that she learned of Aishwarya’s presence at Salman’s home through his staff, eventually leading to their breakup.
After parting ways with Salman in 2002, Aishwarya later began dating Abhishek. While the exact reasons behind her breakup with Salman remain unclear, rumors once claimed physical abuse was involved. Neither Salman nor Aishwarya has publicly addressed these allegations in detail.

In a 2010 appearance on Aap Ki Adalat, Salman Khan addressed various controversies, including rumors of him breaking a windowpane at Aishwarya’s residence. Salman emphasized the importance of privacy in personal matters, stating:
“Uske baare mein kya kahu sir. I just wish that, you know, I believe in one thing your personal life is your personal life. If I go to defend this, then sir, somewhere someone was a part of your life and you’d be denying it.”
When asked about Aishwarya’s marriage to Abhishek, Salman expressed happiness for her, stating that she had moved on and married into a respected family. He praised Abhishek, calling him a great man, and shared his philosophy of wishing happiness for an ex-partner.
The best thing to do is stay silent. Itne saal beet gaye hai, you know, she is someone’s wife, married into a big family. I am very happy that she is married to Abhishek.
