Saif Ali Khan, who was attacked by an intruder at his residence on January 16, 2025, was rushed to Lilavati Hospital for treatment.
The actor’s timely hospital visit was made possible by an auto-rickshaw driver, Bhajan Singh Rana. In a recent gesture of gratitude, Saif reportedly gave Rana ₹50,000.
According to a report by ETimes, Saif met Bhajan Singh Rana and expressed his thanks for ensuring his prompt arrival at the hospital.
When questioned about receiving money from the actor, Rana modestly stated, “Humari koi maang nahi hai. Woh jo de woh theek, na de toh theek. Unhone jo diya humne le liya” (I have no demands. Whatever he gives is fine; if he doesn’t, that’s fine too. I accepted what he gave).
However, the report shared that, as per a source, Saif gave Rs 50,000 to the auto driver as a token of gratitude.
Photos shared by IANS earlier today captured Saif and Rana together in the hospital. Saif, seen smiling warmly with his arm around Rana, was joined by his family, including his mother Sharmila Tagore and his children. Rana shared that the family treated him with respect and expressed their heartfelt appreciation for his help.
Saif Ali Khan was discharged from the hospital yesterday and greeted the paparazzi with a smile and a wave. His wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, along with other family members, had been visiting him regularly during his hospital stay.
On the professional front, Saif has an exciting lineup of projects. He is collaborating with producer Siddharth Anand for Jewel Thief: The Red Sun Chapter and is set to make a comeback in the Race franchise, sharing the screen with Sidharth Malhotra in Race 4.
