Ammy Virk is currently promoting his upcoming film, Kudi Haryane Val Di. In an interview with News18 Showsha, he discussed how singers prefer to keep their personal lives private and hinted at Diljit Dosanjh’s marriage. Ammy mentioned that Diljit isn’t introducing his family to the world for security reasons and added:
“You cannot stop anyone. If we look at Diljit Pajji’s point of view, it is his private matter. It is his family. There must be a reason that he isn’t introducing them to the world. I also have a wife and a daughter. Even I do not want them to come out in public. They also do not want it. For now, they can roam around anywhere and nobody knows they are my Ammy’s family or Diljit’s family. If people know, they (families) will be troubled.”

Speaking along the same lines, Ammy Virk mentioned that he and Diljit are in a profession that doesn’t only provide them fans but also some enmity. Therefore, the singers’ families should not suffer or be targeted for every inconvenience. Ammy mentioned that for their families’ security, they have kept their identities hidden. The Punjabi singer-actor added:
“We are in such a profession where we not only have fans but there might be some other issues too, maybe there is some enmity. Families must not suffer. For now, they can go to the market or wherever, nobody cares. If people get to know, they might be targeted. This is for their security and this is their own will as well.”

Recently, Diljit Dosanjh achieved another milestone with his debut on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’. In the same interview, Ammy Virk praised Diljit for making India proud on the international stage and expressed his belief that the latter will win an Oscar or a Grammy one day. Ammy said:
“He has worked hard. He has been working for almost 24 years now. It takes a lot of courage and hard work. He hasn’t performed at Coachella just like this. He has been working for it for so long. He has a catalog. When he performs on stage, he has a different energy altogether. He has been working on his music, he is doing films. We feel really good. This is just the beginning. He will surely win a Grammy or an Oscar soon.”

Diljit Dosanjh has always maintained that he will not speak publicly about his family as he wishes to secure his good-boy persona. However, in an interaction with The Indian Express, the singer’s friends shed light on his personal life. A source, who wished to remain anonymous, revealed that the singer is married to an American-Indian woman and they are blessed with a son. Diljit’s friend said:
“An intensely private person, little is known about his family but friends say his wife is an American-Indian and they have a son, and his parents live in Ludhiana.”
