Remember Frooti aka Tanvi Hegde, the child actress from the show?
Tanvi Hegde is 32 years old now. As a popular child actress, she appeared in numerous TV shows and advertisements (more than 150) but the character that made her a household name was Frooti in Son Pari.
She made her film debut with Prakash Jha’s Rahul in 2001. Then, she featured in Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff starrer Pitaah (2002) and Shahid Kapoor starrer Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi! (2005).
What is Tanvi Hegde up to now?
At present, Tanvi is working in the Marathi film industry and has starred in movies like Shiva, Athang and Dhurandhar Bhatawdekar. She was last seen in Alipt in 2021. Since then, she has been keeping away from the limelight and is not even active on social media platforms.
Talking about the movie Alipt, she had told TOI,
“I have experienced various emotions while playing different characters and hence there was no reason at all why I would not accept a different role like in ‘Alipt’. Right now, it is too early for me to reveal what my character is in the film or the story. But all I can reveal is that there was great satisfaction in getting an opportunity to work with a very caring as well as a professional unit.”
“As the title of the film reveals, the past takes birth once again is a very vital tag and is in alignment with the plot of the film. It was a great and happy experience that I had while working with Swapnil and the other artists in the film”.
It is quite evident from her Instagram profile that she is quite fond of gaming and gardening.
Remember Shashikala, who essayed the role of Fruity’s Daadi in Son Pari?
The veteran actress passed away two years ago at the age of 88. Remembering her, Tanvi Hegde posted on Instagram
, “Whenever I was alone on the sets she would call me to her room and tell me stories. She would tell about the movies she acted in, the people she met, her experiences and everything in between.”
She was recently spotted by a fan at a railway station.
