Riddhima Kapoor Sahni recently made her OTT debut on Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, and to show support, her mother Neetu Kapoor and brother Ranbir Kapoor appeared on the show, bringing some sibling fun to the screen. While Ranbir spoke highly of his sister, he also didn’t miss the chance to humorously poke fun at her, displaying their light-hearted sibling rivalry.
Ranbir Kapoor Teases Riddhima’s ‘Fake Accent’
In his cameo on Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, Ranbir jokingly warned the other wives about Riddhima’s ‘fake accent’ and claimed she could stir up trouble on the show. With his signature wit, he remarked:
What’s there to worry about? She is muhphat, she has no filters. Riddhima is going to really mess it up. She’s somebody who will eventually just take it under the nose. You know? She’s that person. She’s a chhupa rustam. So, don’t get taken by her politeness or her fake accent.”
Ranbir also shared that he still finds it hard to believe that Riddhima is part of a reality show, especially since she had always been dismissive of films. He said:
“Riddhima is doing a reality series. It’s not even dawned upon me. I don’t know, I think I had mixed feelings about it. All her life, she looked down upon movies.”
Though filled with playful jabs, Ranbir’s message to his sister was endearing. He reassured her of his support and even joked that if the show had voting lines, he would vote regularly. His mix of humor and affection is likely to serve as a good-luck charm for Riddhima as she looks to win over the audience. Ranbir wrapped up his message by expressing his love for Riddhima, saying he would always be there for her.

The show premiered on October 18 and is now streaming on Netflix.
