Shashi Tharoor is a man of many words, in fact a lot of ‘difficult’ words. After his Farrago tweet, he has gained a cult following on Twitter. His tweets are a hit among youngsters and he has a special place in everyone’s heart because of his vocabulary.

Understanding the curiosity of every Indian, one of the leading journalist Faye D’ Souza interviewed him and tried to decode his genius. She wanted to know how he has such an amazing approach in English and this is what he said:
“I don’t use words to show off. I don’t use words for any effect other than what the meaning of the words should convey in terms of embodying my thought precisely. I just read a lot. I’ve never studied a dictionary in my life. I grew up in an India without television, without Nintendo, without computers, without mobile phones. All I had were books.”
Well, this surely explains everything. Maybe it’s the time when we should stop wasting our time on Social Media and try to improve our own vocabulary.
