Seems like the BJP’s workers and politicians have got nothing better to do other than deciding the caste and religion of our gods and goddesses. As if dividing the people on the basis of caste and religion wasn’t enough, they are busy in deciding the caste and religion of gods, specially the characters from the Ramayana.

Recently, the MP from Uttar Pradesh named Hari Om Pandey, has added more spices in the discussion. He is very confident of the caste differences of the Ram Durbar and claims to be an expert in all such matters. The MP has went ahead of all and has divided the characters of Ramayana, Hanuman and Jatayu on the basis of their religion.

MP Hari Om Pandey said that Lord Hanuman was a Brahmin, which is exact contrary of what other MPs are saying and this has led to a full-fledged debate between the MPs. Well, earlier BJP MLC Bukkal Nawab said that he believed that Lord Hanuman was a Muslim and thus, most of the Muslims have a connection with him. He said :

Hamara manna hai Hanuman ji Muslaman they… isliye Musalmanon ke andar jo naam rakha jata hai Rehman, Ramzan, Farman, Zishan, Qurban… jitne bhi naam rakhe jaate hainwo karib karib unhi par rakhe jaate hain.”

You can watch the video of him here :

Taking the debate ahead, MP Hari Om Pandey said that Hanuman was a Brahmin but he had a completely different prospective about Jatayu, the giant mythical bird who had tried to help Sita. He claimed that Jatayu was Muslim. He was so sure about his statements that he said that he can back all what he said and can provide evidences as well which was a result of his own research.

Well, if you think this is it then the CM of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath claimed that Lord Hanuman was a Dalit. He said :

“Lord Hanuman was a forest dweller, deprived and a Dalit. Bajrang Bali worked to connect all Indian communities together, from north to south and east to west,”

Well, seems like these MPs and CMs have a lot of free time these days.
