Famous YouTuber Armaan Malik, along with his wives Payal Malik and Kritika Malik, gained significant attention following their participation in Bigg Boss OTT 3. Recently evicted from the show, Payal opened up about her marriage and her relationship with Kritika, alleging that Armaan wronged her by marrying another woman. Payal emphasized that she is Armaan’s only legal wife.
In an interview with India Today, Payal stated that Armaan did not convert to Islam for his second marriage, and the Hindu Marriage Act does not permit more than one legal wife. Payal asserted,
“I am his legal wife.”
She further explained that while she does not oppose Armaan’s second marriage, it remains illegal under the law.
“Kritika and Armaan ji’s marriage is not legal. However, from what I know, if the first wife doesn’t have an issue with her husband marrying again, it’s not an issue.”
Payal shared her experiences with The Indian Express, revealing that she felt betrayed when Armaan Malik married another woman just six days after she had left her family to be with him.
Despite feeling wronged, Payal chose to stay with Armaan due to her love for him and for the sake of their son, Chirayu. She also praised Kritika for her supportive relationship.
“Obiviously na-insaafi toh hui hai, mai ne Armaan ji ke liye apna ghar chora tha. Mai 8 saal se unpar dependant thi, sirf aur sirf unhi par nirbher thi, unhi ke saath rahe rahi thi mai. Aur ekdum suddenly aisa hota hai ki unki life mein or koi aa jata hai. Toh definitely na-inaafi toh hui hai.”
Payal’s courageous journey post-Bigg Boss OTT 3 appears promising and inspiring.
