Ashneer Grover is already one of the most influential entrepreneurs in the country and his appearance in the first season of Shark Tank as a judge shot his fame a thousand times. Ashneer was the co-founder of Bharat Pe and shot to fame with his unparalleled diligence and some ingenious moves for the company.
He has built quite a fan following due to his witty remarks and some chiseled comments that also led to some serious meme-fest over the internet and kept the audience entertained. In fact, he also appeared for a cameo in the latest season of the Pitchers.
Here is what Ashneer Grover had to say about his love life.
In a recent interview with Brut India, Ashneer opened up on his life story where he revealed details about how he convinced his wife to marry him. Well, if you aren’t thrilled by the knowledge of this, talking in Ashneer’s accent, “Bhai kya kar raha hai tu?”
Ashneer opened up on his childhood days and given his penchant for his studies, he talked about how he has always been a great student, scoring good marks in his subjects. He also said that despite being a famous persona of India, he is an introvert and addressing large gatherings leaves him on the edge.
He also shared further details where he talked about how he was famous in his school and how he was his teacher’s favourite, also revealing his favourite subject to be chemistry. His words were,
“I aced in chemistry, which not many people like. I was selected for IIT because maine chemistry phod diya tha. Maths, quant and Physics thik thak tha”.
He further added,
““My first deal was for around Rs 1600-2000 crore. I left the company when I knew they would transfer me to Mumbai. I am a Delhite and didn’t want to leave. I joined Grofers with a friend where I developed the muscle as a founder. After leaving the company, I launched BharatPe in just about 6-8 months. I firmly believe that sirf naukri karke koi bada aadmi nahi ban sakta.”
Ashneer revealed how he fell in love with his wife and also talked in detail about his predilection for bikes. The entrepreneur added that he was preparing for CAT when Madhuri appeared in his life for the first time. He instantly fell in love with her and persuaded to go out with him.
Talking about what his friend had to say about him, he added, “Mera product review bura tha. She had asked a friend about me and she said he was just ‘ainwe hi’. But I was very persevering as I knew I wanted to marry her.” Ashneer has been buzzing on the bookshelves after the release of his first book called “Doglapan”.
