Malaika Arora’s father, Anil Arora, tragically passed away on September 11, 2024, in what is suspected to be a suicide. He reportedly jumped from the terrace of his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. The incident is currently under investigation by the police, with CCTV footage being reviewed to gather more details. Anil Arora, 65, allegedly jumped from the sixth floor of the building around 9 a.m. Although the motive remains unclear, a postmortem examination is underway.
Malaika’s ex-husband, Arbaaz Khan, was spotted at the scene shortly after the incident.
According to reports, a family source stated that the death might have been accidental, and there were no known health concerns surrounding Anil Arora.

Anil Arora, who was a private individual, had been living in Bandra while his daughter Malaika and her sister Amrita frequently visited him. He had a Punjabi background from Fazilka and had worked in the Indian Merchant Navy. His family, including Malaika and her mother, had been seen visiting him in the hospital the previous year for an undisclosed illness.
Malaika’s parents divorced when she was 11, after which she and her sister moved with their mother to Chembur. Amrita, Malaika’s sister, is married to businessman Shakeel Ladak, and they have two sons together.
Malaika Arora is well-known for her contributions to Indian cinema, particularly her dance performances and her role as a judge on reality shows. Despite her fame, she has kept much of her personal family life out of the public eye.
