Navjot Singh Sidhu made a surprise appearance in the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show. During the episode, Kapil expressed his hope for Sidhu’s return to the show, which Sidhu responded to with a condition that left everyone intrigued.
The two have a long history, having first met in 2007 when Kapil was a contestant on a reality show. Sidhu became a prominent part of Kapil’s comedy show in 2013, moving with him when the show shifted from Colors to Sony. However, Sidhu exited in 2019 after making controversial remarks about the Pulwama attack, which led to Archana Puran Singh replacing him.
As Kapil welcomed Navjot Singh Sidhu back on the show, he asked if Sidhu would be joining the cast in the next season.
Sidhu, however, had a specific condition for his return. Speaking nostalgically about the show, Sidhu compared it to a beautiful bouquet, with each cast member representing a unique flower. He said,
“God created it, it’s a bouquet. It’s got a wonderful fragrance, every flower has a unique fragrance,” he said and added, “Before I die, I wish to see all these flowers together again, along with Archana. I really do.” Reacting to this the comedian-host Kapil replied, “All the flowers you mentioned are here except for our flower pot. You are our flower pot. You should return next season.”
The host then turned to the audience and asked, “Do you want to see Sidhu paaji back?” to which the crowd cheered loudly.
Sidhu’s condition for returning was clear: he would only return if Archana Puran Singh remained a part of the show. “I will come back when she is sitting next to me,” he said, reaffirming his wish for the original team to reunite.

In a recent interview, Sidhu revealed that his departure from the show was due to “political reasons,” though he preferred not to elaborate. He expressed his desire for the show to reunite in its original form, stating, “I wish that bouquet must get together again, the way it was. I will be the first to facilitate it. Kapil is a genius, and his show is still doing very well.”
This reunion on Kapil’s show has sparked hope among fans for a possible return of Sidhu in the future.
