Bollywood filmmaker Kabir Khan recently visited Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, to participate in the iconic Maha Kumbh Mela. Known as the world’s largest spiritual gathering, this event draws millions from across the globe every 12 years. Sharing his excitement, Khan expressed his gratitude for experiencing such a significant cultural moment, mentioning that he feels “lucky to be here” and plans to take a holy dip at the Sangam.
During his media interaction, Kabir Khan highlighted the event’s broader cultural significance, stating,
“I am very excited. This happens once in 12 years. I feel lucky to be here. I will take a holy dip too,”
He also stated that ”
This is not about Hindus or Muslims. This is about our roots, our country, and our culture. If you believe you are an Indian, you should feel connected to this,”

Choreographer Remo D’Souza and actress Mamta Kulkarni, who took sanyas and became the Mahamandaleshwar of Kinnar Akhada, are among the prominent attendees. Meanwhile, actress Poonam Pandey was also spotted heading to the spiritual gathering.
