Priyanshu Goel, a content creator and self-proclaimed engagement ring specialist, shared his opinion on Nischay and Ruchika’s engagement rings in a video. He highlighted Nischay’s impressive subscriber count of 30 million and his estimated monthly income of Rs. 1 crore, stating that the engagement ring, reportedly valued at under Rs. 50,000, was “less than expected” and lacked a solitaire design.
While Priyanshu acknowledged the bond between Nischay and Ruchika as the most important aspect, he suggested that someone of Nischay’s financial standing could have invested more in the ring. He even compared the ring to Punjabi singer Karan Aujla’s gold band with small diamonds and humorously offered to gift Nischay a solitaire ring if he commented on his video.

Abhishek Malhan, aka ‘Fukra Insaan,’ came to his brother Nischay’s defense. Responding to Priyanshu’s remarks, Abhishek emphasized that love, not money, determines the value of a relationship. He explained that the ring was chosen based on personal preference, not its price. Abhishek’s response highlighted the importance of genuine emotions over materialistic values.
In a clip shared on Priyanshu’s Instagram, Abhishek addressed the issue, saying:
