Gaurav Taneja, widely known as ‘Flying Beast,’ has finally addressed the ongoing rumors about his separation from his wife, Ritu Rathee. Speculation began when Ritu was notably absent from a family vacation, and Gaurav did not mention her in his vlogs. On September 28, 2024, Gaurav added to the speculation by posting a cryptic message about his marriage on Instagram.
Things escalated further when a video of Ritu went viral, in which she expressed concerns about her daughters and suggested that her husband had betrayed her.
Although Ritu later attempted to downplay the situation, the damage had already been done.
Breaking his silence, Gaurav Taneja recently shared a picture of himself and Ritu on Instagram, where he explained that, like any other family, personal matters between couples aren’t always shared with their children.
“To everyone reading this, your parents must have also gone through some tough times in their marriage and might not have even disclosed it to you (immediate family).”
He questioned why he and Ritu should be expected to discuss their private issues with the public. He pointed out that when even parents don’t involve their children in their relationship problems, why should he and Ritu be answerable to strangers online?
“Message is clear, jab tumhare maa baap ne tumhe apne relation mein nahi ghusaya, to please hum kaise ghusaye. Every sensible person would understand this.”

Gaurav also touched upon the sensitive topic of extramarital affairs, referencing a past video where he discussed how many men feel neglected after their wives give birth, though he emphasized that this should not justify seeking comfort elsewhere.
Additionally, Gaurav reflected on how he once felt unloved by Ritu after the birth of their first child, not because they were unhappy with the baby, but because he no longer felt like a priority in her life.
“At one point in time, I thought that Ritu didn’t love me anymore as I wasn’t her priority.”
Gaurav’s response sheds light on the complexities of marriage and how personal struggles should remain private, regardless of public curiosity.
