Diljit Dosanjh’s much-anticipated Dil-Luminati Tour is set to take place in India this year. To address ticket scams related to the event, the official Instagram handle of the Delhi Police issued a warning to fans.
Diljit responded to the post, sharing it on his Instagram story along with a raised fist emoji.
Adding a creative twist, the Delhi Police modified the lyrics of Diljit’s hit song “Born To Shine” to say, “Paise Puse Baare Soche Duniya, Alert Rehkar Online Fraud Se Bache Duniya,” promoting online and cyber safety with hashtags #OnlineSafety and #CyberSafety.
The Dil-Luminati Tour will kick off at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on October 26, followed by concerts in cities like Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati.
Diljit became a global sensation after performing twice at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California last year.
He later collaborated with Sia on the hit single “Hass Hass” and appeared as a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this year. He also performed with Ed Sheeran in Mumbai this year.
Diljit rose to fame with songs like “Proper Patola,” “Do You Know,” and “Patiala Peg.” Alongside his music career, he has starred in several Punjabi films and Bollywood hits, including Phillauri, Soorma, Welcome To New York, Arjun Patiala, Sooraj Pe Mangal Bhaari, The Crew, and Good Newwz.
