Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh found a creative way to entertain his fans during his Hyderabad concert on November 15, while adhering to the Telangana government’s guidelines. The government had advised the singer to avoid performing songs that reference alcohol, drugs, or violence—a directive he embraced with humor and ingenuity.
Clever Adjustments to Lyrics
To comply with the instructions, Diljit altered the lyrics of his popular tracks, much to the amusement of the audience. Viral clips from the concert show him humorously rewording his songs. For example, in his hit song Lemonade, he replaced the line “Tainu teri daaru ch pasand aa Lemonade” with “Tainu teri coke ch pasand aa Lemonade.”
Similarly, during his performance of 5 Taara, Diljit swapped “5 Taara thekke utthe” with “5 taara hotel ch.” The singer couldn’t help but laugh at his own clever modifications, and his fans appreciated his light-hearted approach.
