Diljit Dosanjh’s global Dil-Luminati tour has achieved remarkable success. His international concerts have set records, with over 1 lakh tickets selling out within 15 minutes during pre-sales. According to Diljit’s manager, Sonali Singh, the tour has generated a staggering profit of approximately 234 crore.
In an interview with Connect Cine, Singh revealed that resellers were offering tickets for as high as 54 lakhs and 46 lakhs, with buyers snapping them up. Excitement is also building among Diljit’s fans in Abu Dhabi, where the tour has seen ticket sales reach around 30,000—the highest for any Indian artist in that region.
However, the situation has been less favorable for Diljit’s fans in India. The pre-sales for the Dil-Luminati tour in India recently opened, but many fans were disappointed as tickets sold out quickly. Pinkvilla reported that Gold (Phase 3) tickets were priced starting at 12,999.
The Indian leg of the tour will start on October 26, 2024, with the inaugural concert at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, followed by shows in cities like Bangalore, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Pune, Guwahati, Indore, Hyderabad, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad.
This success has added around 234 crore to Diljit Dosanjh’s already substantial net worth of approximately 172 crore.
On the professional front, Diljit has received acclaim for his role in the Netflix film Amar Singh Chamkila, where he portrayed the controversial singer of the same name, who was assassinated in 1988. Additionally, he has collaborated with Alia Bhatt on the song ‘Chal Kudiye’ for her upcoming film Jigra.
