Many artists have played Shri Krishna’s role on television but no has done it better than Sarvadaman D. Banerjee.
It is said that Sarvadaman D. Banerjee’s fans used to address him as ‘Lord Krishna’ even in real life. And all the credit goes to him because he did full justice to the divine character.
People say that Sarvadaman D. Banerjee always prefers staying away from the camera and limelight.
Banerjee was born into a Bengali Brahmin family on 14 March 1965, in Magarwara, Unnao, Uttar Pradesh. He went to St. Aloysius School, Kanpur and graduated from the Pune Film Institute. He now teaches meditation in Rishikesh.
