Zomato’s founder, Deepinder Goyal, recently appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show, where he shared an intriguing story about delivering food with his wife, Grecia Munoz (known as Gia Goyal on the show). In October, the couple wore matching Zomato red shirts and spent a day as delivery partners in Gurugram, capturing photos and videos to document their unique experience. Goyal recounted how customers reacted, often surprised, to see Grecia delivering their orders.
Deepinder and Grecia, who got married in February this year, had taken a bike around Gurgaon last month, working together to fulfill Zomato deliveries for the day.
In a teaser clip from the show, Goyal amused the audience with stories about customers’ stunned reactions when they saw Gia delivering their food. He shared,
“When Gia delivers the order, customers can’t help but keep staring. It was fun!”
On Instagram, Deepinder Goyal posted photos and videos from their delivery day, captioning them, “Went out to deliver orders a couple of days ago, teaming up with Gia Goyal.”

Additionally, Goyal posted on X, reflecting on his experience: “During my second order, I realized that we need to work with malls more closely to improve conditions for all delivery partners. Malls should also be more considerate toward delivery agents.” He shared the enjoyable and unpredictable nature of their delivery day, noting the positive engagement with customers.
In the same episode, Infosys co-founder NR Narayana Murthy and his wife, author Sudha Murthy, will appear as guests. The couple will share insights into their 47-year marriage. When asked about his first impression of Sudha, Narayana Murthy said, “When she came to our house, it was like a breath of fresh air.” Sudha humorously remarked on their compatibility, saying, “I became a workaholic like him, and a stickler to time.”
