Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have become proud parents to a baby girl, born on September 8. The actress was admitted to Reliance Foundation Hospital for delivery, accompanied by her mother, with Ranveer arriving shortly after. A video of their car arriving at the hospital has since gone viral on social media. The couple had announced their pregnancy in February 2024 with a simple post stating, “September 2024.”
Just a day before the delivery, on Friday, Deepika and Ranveer visited Siddhivinayak Temple to seek blessings. Deepika looked radiant in a green saree with golden brocade, while Ranveer sported a beige silk kurta-pyjama, his trademark man bun, and black sunglasses. The couple, holding hands, greeted the paparazzi with warm smiles as they exited the temple.
Maternity Photoshoot
On September 2, Deepika and Ranveer delighted their fans by sharing a maternity photoshoot. The black-and-white photos showcased Deepika proudly displaying her baby bump, with Ranveer lovingly embracing her.
On the Work Front
Professionally, Deepika was last seen in the sci-fi film Kalki 2898 AD, which earned an impressive ₹1,041 crores worldwide. Her next film, Singham Again, will see her playing a fierce cop, Shakti Shetty, alongside Ranveer.
Meanwhile, Ranveer is gearing up for his next project, an untitled film directed by Aditya Dhar, featuring stars like Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Akshaye Khanna.
