In a teaser clip from Indian Idol 15 that Honey Singh shared on Instagram Stories, Badshah showcased his freestyle rap alongside Vishal Dadlani and Shreya Ghoshal. He rapped about popular Indian street foods, including “Dilli ka golgappa, Mumbai se bhelpuri, Chandigarh ki lassi.” Honey Singh sarcastically quipped, “Aise lyrics likhwane hai bass taqdeer ban jayegi meri,” with a laughing emoji, mocking Badshah’s lyrics.
For context, Honey Singh and Badshah parted ways in 2009 after a disagreement, which escalated when Badshah poked fun at Honey Singh in his tracks. Although fans thought the feud had ended, recent events suggest otherwise. In a recent interview with The Lallantop, Honey Singh referred to Badshah as a “client,” explaining that their first meeting happened when Badshah’s father approached Singh to compose music for Badshah’s English single.
