2. Rohit Sharma – Deccan Chargers (INR 3 Crores):

Having won the title of the Indian Premier League 5 times, Rohit Sharma is also one of the most successful skippers in IPL history. He has been associated with Mumbai Indians for a long time now, however, he made his debut in the IPL with Deccan Chargers in IPL 2008 for Rs. 3 crores.

3. Suresh Raina – Chennai Super Kings (INR 2.6 Crores):

Suresh Raina, who is also called Chinna Thala by his fans has been the backbone of Chennai Super Kings for years now. Raina made his debut in IPL and received Rs 2.6 crore in the first season.

4. Virat Kohli – Royal Challengers Bangalore (INR 12 Lakh):

Virat Kohli made his IPL debut after he won India the Under-19 World Cup. He was picked up by RCB with an offer of Rs. 12 lakh. He is currently the third-highest earner in the IPL history with his current salary of Rs. 17 crore/season, which is Rs 2 crore more than the highest retention amount.

5. Hardik Pandya – Mumbai Indians ( INR 10 lakh):

India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been the star performer for Mumbai Indians for many years now. He was picked by the 5-times winning team for Rs 10 lakh in 2015.
