Sridevi’s death has stunned us all and all the fans and Hindi movie lovers in India have united to pay tributes to one of the greatest stars of Hindi Film Industry. Sridevi will always be regarded as one of the most beautiful, talented and hard working actors in the history of Bollywood.

In the last few months, Sridevi was in news almost every day because of the huge buildup surrounding the debut of her elder daughter Jhanvi Kapoor. It’s so heartbreaking that one of the greatest female actors of India died just 5 months before her daughter Janhvi Kapoor’s big Bollywood debut.

In the last few months, we saw Sridevi mentoring Jhanvi almost everywhere and sources close to them used to say that the legendary actor was leaving no stone unturned to make her daughter’s debut a grand and ‘perfect’ affair.

Jhanvi wasn’t with Sridevi in her last moments but she has her mom’s advice to go. In one of her interviews, Sridevi had talked about the advice that she keeps giving Janhvi regarding her big screen debut. She had said, “As a mother, like any mother, whether they are coming to this profession or any other, you just tell them to do the right thing. Like, do hard work, give your 100 percent, hard work always pays.”

Many people close to the Kapoor family say that Sridevi was a great mother and she was very excited about Jhanvi’s debut. She used to be at the sets and also used to mentor her dance and other practices herself.

In another interview to DNA, when she was asked about the constant comparisons that Janhvi will have to face after her debut, Sridevi had said, “We can’t run away from that. She has to face the pressure. When she has decided to enter Bollywood, she has to go through all this. She’s prepared for all that, and I am also preparing myself for it. Sometimes, it scares me. So many thoughts come and you feel why is she doing this? But then, if you feel that is her aim and happiness, as a mother, I will support her like my mom supported me. We weren’t from a film background but it happened and she stood by me, fought for me and made sure I am happy. That’s how I would also like to be with Janhvi.”
