From celebrities to common men, everyone is reaching out to help the flood victim by their donations and through spreading awareness.

Property worth more than Rs.20,000 crores have been destroyed. The death toll has gone past 370 now and more than 7 Lakh people have been rescued.From spreading awareness to making donations, people are leaving no stone unturned to help the victims of the flood.

Recently Bollywood actor and comedian, Javed Jaaferi took to his twitter and tweeted about Salman Khan donating Rs 12 crore as his contribution for the relief and rehabilitation of those affected by Kerala floods. In his tweet, he wrote about his admiration for the actor, who always come ahead to help the people in need. And this time as well, Salman Khan came forward to help the people of Kerala by donating a huge amount.

Apart from him, many Bollywood celebrities came forward and donated huge numbers. Actor Kunal Kapoor, donated Rs 1.2 crore to the cause. Sushant Singh Rajput also donated Rs.1 crore on a fan’s behalf. Sunny Leone also contributed Rs.5 crores to the flood victims of Kerala. Others who contributed included Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Sunny Leone, Anushka Sharma, Rajinikanth, Thalapathy Vijay, Ram Charan and many more.

Apart from monetary help, celebrities are also spreading awareness through their social media and are motivating fans to donate as well. Randeep Hooda was seen  in Kerala as part of Khalsa Aid initiative. The Khalsa Aid’s NGO posted the picture of Randeep Hooda serving food to the people of Kerala.

In this difficult phase of Kerala, smallest to smallest amount will be of a huge help, kindly donate and help the state recover soon.
