Shah Rukh Khan, the King Khan of Bollywood is arguably the biggest superstar of Bollywood. Not just in India, but Shah Rukh Khan enjoys huge fan following from all around the world. He literally rules the hearts of millions of fans, from kids to elders, he is loved by all the three generations.
His dedication, his hardwork, his focus, his charm, his talent has made him what he is today. Shah Rukh Khan is loved for the way he lives his character with so much ease and also for the person he is off-the camera. Be it a negative character or a positive and inspiring one, Shah Rukh Khan has nailed every role that he has done.
Recently, in an interview a journalist asked Shah Rukh Khan about his desire to work in Hollywood movies. Talking about the same SRK revealed that he has never been approached for the same and explained it by giving an example of him and the moon. He said:
“They have to look at me; I can’t look at them. I look at the moon every day but I don’t reach for it. It started with Om Puriji and now Priyanka, Irrfan and so many others are doing it. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is getting some films. Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) has done some, Anupam Kher too has and it’s wonderful. But I have never been offered an opportunity. I don’t even know if I am good enough to do it — I think my English is a little weak.”
SRK also expressed how he wants Hindi cinema to evolve so much that the top Hollywood stars like Tom Cruise feels excited to work in Bollywood. He said :
“My own attempt is to make Indian films watched at that level. Again, not taking away from the greatness of anything that others have achieved, I’d like Tom Cruise to say one day that ‘I’ve been given a chance in a Hindi film’. Man, that will be wonderful. Christopher Nolan would say that there is a producer in India who wants him to make a film. Inshallah, that will happen,”
About the work front, SRK will be next seen in his upcoming movie Zero, alongwith Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. The trailer of the movie will release on the birthday of SRK.
