This came after he was admitted to AIIMS Delhi following a deterioration in his health. Singh, a key figure in India’s economic reforms and the nation’s leader during the UPA government from 2004 to 2014, leaves behind a legacy of transformative governance.
Robert Vadra, husband of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi, took to Instagram to share his sorrow, stating,
“I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Fmr Prime Minister Manmohan Singh ji. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Thank you for your service to our nation. You will always be remembered for your economic revolution and progressive changes.”
The news of Singh’s demise was also shared by News24 on X (formerly Twitter). However, AIIMS Delhi has yet to issue an official confirmation or update regarding the former PM’s passing.
