The much-anticipated grand finale of Bigg Boss 18 has been making waves, with Bollywood superstars like Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan expected to join the celebrations. However, Akshay Kumar reportedly left the set before shooting his segment with the show’s host, Salman Khan, leaving fans disappointed.
Why Akshay Kumar Left the Bigg Boss 18 Set
According to reports, Akshay Kumar was scheduled to promote his upcoming film, Sky Force, alongside debutant Veer Pahariya. However, the actor walked out after Salman Khan failed to arrive on time. Known for his punctuality, Akshay reportedly waited for over an hour before deciding to leave.
An insider revealed:
Being as punctual as he is, Akshay turned up on the set for his shoot at the scheduled time, around 2:15 pm. But Salman hadn’t come by then. Akshay waited for an hour for Salman to come, but he had a trial screening of Jolly LLB 3 on his schedule. Thus, after waiting for an hour, Akshay returned without even shooting for the show.”
Efforts to Persuade Akshay Kumar to Stay
The Bigg Boss production team reportedly reached out to Akshay multiple times, requesting him to return to complete the shoot. However, the actor declined, citing his packed schedule. Sources also confirmed that Akshay later discussed the situation with Salman Khan, who expressed hope of collaborating with him on the show in the future.
“Akshay and Salman eventually spoke and Akshay told him that he had to leave for a prior commitment. Salman also said that he hopes to have him on the show some other time.”
Bigg Boss 18 Grand Finale Details
With Akshay Kumar’s absence, Aamir Khan is now the sole celebrity guest for the finale. Aamir, accompanied by his son Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, will promote their upcoming film, Loveyapa. The finale, set to air tonight at 9:30 PM on JioCinema, will declare the winner from the top finalists: Vivian Dsena, Avinash Mishra, Karanveer Mehra, Eisha Singh, Rajat Dalal, and Chum Darang. The winner will take home a prize of ₹50 lakh.
Eliminations Before the Finale
Reports suggest that Eisha Singh and Chum Darang have already been evicted, leaving Vivian Dsena, Karanveer Mehra, Rajat Dalal, and Avinash Mishra in the race for the title.
