The customer, Gajender Yadav, shared his experience on social media platform X, posting a video and photos of the worm-infested product.
Mr. Yadav, using the handle “@imYadav31,” revealed that his order, delivered 10 to 12 days after being placed, contained open boxes emitting a foul smell. He voiced his dissatisfaction, urging others to avoid purchasing from Amul’s website.

The viral Twitter thread caught Amul’s attention. In response, Amul Kanpur offered a replacement and a refund, which Mr. Yadav declined. He was asked to dispose of the infested boxes.

Some1 from Amul Kanpur team called and apologized for this. They are issuing refund and were sending the product again. I have said NO FOR REPLACEMENT. They have accepted their mistake and asked me throw these boxes.

Call received from Amul Head Office, Gujarat. They are SORRY FOR THE INCIDENT. They have checked the timeline & as per them…..this happened because of delay from their logistics team/partner. They have assured me that they are taking this incident very seriously
