During the episode, Abhishek appeared with director Shoojit Sircar to promote their upcoming film, I Want To Talk. However, Abhishek’s playful teasing of his father’s iconic line “7 crore” left the audience in fits of laughter, while Amitabh pretended to be exasperated by his son’s antics. Abhishek and the Bachchan family have been in the limelight recently due to ongoing rumors and public speculation surrounding his personal life.
Earlier in the year, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding with their daughter, Aaradhya, while the rest of the Bachchan family, including Abhishek, posed separately. Adding to the intrigue, a letter from Amitabh to Nimrat, written in 2022, resurfaced amid the ongoing rumors. In it, Amitabh praised her performance in Dasvi, which starred Abhishek. Nimrat shared this note publicly, expressing her gratitude for Amitabh’s encouragement.
While the Bachchan family reportedly dismisses the rumors surrounding Abhishek and Nimrat, a source suggested they are frustrated by the ongoing speculation and surprised Nimrat has not addressed it publicly.
