Bollywood’s Khans—Shah Rukh, Aamir, and Salman—are not only celebrated for their blockbuster movies but also for their complex relationships. While their recent public appearances together have showcased a strong bond, there have been times when their comments about one another stirred controversy.
One such instance occurred when Shah Rukh Khan, while promoting My Name Is Khan, called Aamir Khan’s marketing tactic ‘Chhichhorapan’ (childishness), and Aamir didn’t shy away from responding.
For context, My Name Is Khan and Aamir’s 3 Idiots were released within two months of each other. During the promotions, Aamir had adopted an unconventional approach, traveling in disguise to connect with audiences. Reacting to this during his film’s promotional event, Shah Rukh Khan said, “Sorry to use this word, but ye ek kisam ka chhichhorapan lagta hai (this seems like childishness). I don’t think we would go to that level to promote our film. Every film has its own marketing approach, and this one will follow its unique strategy.”
Later, when Aamir was asked about SRK’s comment in an interview with ABP, he responded with his trademark wit, saying, “Jaha tak baat hai chhichhorapan ki, toh woh (Shah Rukh) jyada jaante honge iss cheez ke baare mein, kyunki woh khud kaafi chhichhorapan karte hai apni zindagi mein. Woh expert hai inn sab mein” (As far as childishness goes, Shah Rukh knows more about it because he indulges in it quite a bit in his life. He’s an expert in these matters).

Despite these past jabs, the relationship between the two has evolved over time, with recent appearances showing a more friendly and positive dynamic between the Khans.
