Long gone are the days where the best profession to strive for was engineering and medical. In the current era where social media rules a major part of our life, influencers are the next big thing. Content creators were not regarded earlier in contrast to the current boom of social media influencers.
Platforms like YouTube has always been regarded as a go-to spot for any bored soul to learn, pass time in leisure or entertain oneself. Out of the many prominent stars is Bhuvan Bam. The ‘BB Ki Vines’ creator who introduced Indians to the concept of vines not only crawled his way to the heart of his followers by just making them smile but also with his unputdownable generosity.
Recently the star had released his new single “Heer Ranjha” which immediately became a favourite over every platform. However, we do know there is a high provision of copyright issues that make a fuss over such a single.
The Google support clause states, “If you upload a video that contains copyright-protected material, you could end up with a Content ID claim. Companies that own music, movies, TV shows, video games, or another copyright-protected material issue these claims. Content owners can set Content ID to block material from YouTube when a claim is made. They can also allow the video to remain live on YouTube with ads. In those cases, the advertising revenue goes to the copyright owners of the claimed content.”
In suggestion to this one fellow follower tweeted asking whether he could use his single song in his video and whether that would result in a copyright issue. To this, the renowned creator replied that he has nothing to worry about as if there is an issue he would revoke the copyright claim. Let us take a look at the tweets.
Can I use #HeerRanjha song on my YouTube videos ? Koi copyright ka issue toh Nahi aayega Na ? Plz respond to this @Bhuvan_Bam @Rohitonweb ?#HeerRanjha on loop šš
