Recently, a murder case of a young girl named Nikita Tomar left the nation in shock. The girl was murdered by an accused named Tauseef after she rejected his proposal.
As per the reports, during the interrogation, the accused Tauseef confessed to the police officials that he was inspired by the character of ‘Munna Tripathi’ from the web-series Mirzapur, where the villain had shot the girl he loved after she rejected her proposal.
As per a report by Dainik Jagran, Tauseef in his confession revealed that he couldn’t understand what he should do about Nikita and her rejection of his proposal, however, after watching the web-series, he decided to kill her, just like how
Tauseef had obtained the gun with the help of his maternal uncle, who is currently serving a 10-year jail term for abducting a police officer. This isn’t the first time that the accused had dared to commit a crime like this. It was also found out that the accused had kidnapped another girl in 2018.
Meanwhile, twitterati are slamming the makers of Mirzapur for glorifying criminals. Among many, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who is known for her outspoken behavior, also took to her social media and slammed such series.
As soon as Kangana Ranaut noticed the tweet, she was quick to launch an attack towards Mirzapur. In her tweet, Kangana slammed the makers of such web-series that glorify criminals. Further, she shamed Bollywood for causing more damage. She wrote:
“This is what happens when you glorify criminals, when negative and dark characters are played by good looking young men and they are shown as anti heroes not villlains then this is the result, shame on Bullywood for causing more damage than good always…”
