Kangana Ranaut Slammed A Journalist Who Tried To Troll Her On ‘Caste-based Quotas’

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is known for living with her heart on her sleeves. Besides her brilliant performances, she is known for her outspoken attitude and for the same reason, she often finds herself at the receiving end of criticism. The actress never shies away from calling a spade a spade. Infact, her recent tweets have even brought legal troubles for her as some of the statements of Kangana related to religion and caste didn’t go down well with the netizens.



In her latest tweet, Kangana disapproved of the caste-based reservations in India, while writing about the ‘sufferings’ faced by the upper-caste Brahmins and Rajputs.

Well, it all started when, Kangana shared a news report that claimed ‘55 percent of Brahmins lived below the poverty line.’ Responding to the piece of news, Kangana wrote that reservations shouldn’t be for the poor people only.

“Reservations should be for the poor not based on the cast system… I know how Rajputs are suffering but very sad to read about Brahmins …”

However, the tweet didn’t go down well with the netizens, who started slamming the actress. Among many, a journalist named Sonal Hayat responded to the tweet in a total savage manner. She wrote:

“I’m a “Rajput” and I am suffering because your tweet showed up on my timeline. Stop talking nonsense.”

“Brahmins and dominant classes aren’t/weren’t suffering. This victimhood is just pathetic”

Kangana was quick to notice the tweet and come up with a reply. In her reply, Kangana responded that she was a ‘mere mortal.’Hinting at Gods not ‘suffering’ despite the people around them, she wrote:

I am a mere mortal madam, Shakuni suffered Krishna’s enormous presence, Rama’s loving smile was the cause of manys suffering, Christ’s existence made some suffer so much they crucified him, but these people never suffered anyone or anything, world is a projection of our mind”
