When Abhishek Bachchan Shared How He Fell In Love With Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

One of the most talked-about couples in B-town is Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwariya Rai Bachchan. They have now been married for 13 years. Aishwariya was crowned as Miss World to start her career on a glittering note. She married Abhishek Bachchan on 20th April 2007.

When the celebrated couple tied knots, the industry was deluging with canards that stated that Abhishek married Aishwariya only for her gorgeous looks and nothing else. However, the truth is far deeper than you can anticipate and after knowing it, your reverence for the actor will manifold itself exponentially.

According to his own words, he cited, “You don’t go home at night and say ‘We are the IT couple’ or what we are going to do to maintain this. I think people spend too much time bothering about these things. Two of us have always been real about these things. We have no false illusions of grandeur nor we are aspiring to be that.”

Abhishek clearly is head over heels in love with Aishwariya even after 13 years and he also said, “That’s not the basis of my relationship with Aishwarya. It’s not about – you’re hot and let’s get married. It’s not that. I married her for the human being that she is, not because she is the most successful actor we have or she is the international face of the Indian cinema because she is one of the most beautiful women.”

He also added, “No, it’s not. At the end of the day, when you come back home from a hard day at work, you go to bed and you have to face certain realities about how the person is like. These faces that we have come off at night without makeup. I married her for that person.”

This is the most beautiful answer you can get from a man who loves his woman crazily and this also constitutes one of the sweetest love stories of Bollywood, better than the ones on the screen.
